Their approach is strength-based, person-centered, and deeply informed by liberation psychology, the disability justice movement, and transformative justice. They believe that connecting with authenticity, pleasure, and learning skills to create satisfying relationships can be a radically healing experience on both a personal and collective level.
As an art therapist, Ryan believes in the power of creativity to foster connection, expression, and healing, particularly when words fall short. Grounded in the transformative potential of relationships, Ryan offers artistic exploration as a means for individuals and partners to create healing connections and gain personal insights. With a commitment to meeting clients where they are, Ryan cultivates a non-judgmental and supportive space for exploring topics related to disability, sexuality, gender, and relationships. -
